limoncello making class

monday january 27th, 6-7.30pm

we are excited to share with you the craft of limoncello making. led by our bartender, brian madden, you will be led through the principles of limoncello before setting to making your own version to take home. we provide all the materials for the class, including lemons, high-proof alcohol, a mason jar for aging and a glass bottle to decant your finished product in to.

we will be opening up the restaurant on a monday evening, when we are usually closed, to give this class full run of our space and ensure a wonderful evening of learning and creativity!

includes a welcome drink, a selection of appetisers and a pour of one of our house made limoncellos.

$125 per person, tickets required. seats limited


 

amaro 101 class & happy hour

wednesday february 5th, 4.30-6pm

want to get in to the wonderful world of amari? this class is for you!

“amaro” (italian for bitter) is a term used to describe italian herbal liqueurs commonly consumed as a digestif. they are typically bitter-sweet and are produced by macerating herbs, roots, bark, and citrus peels.

join us for class to learn more about this fabulous drink. we will delve in to all things bitter-sweet, taste through a range of amari, including local mn made, and enjoy snacks from the gia kitchen.

$60 per person, tickets required. seats limited.


 

valentine’s day

valentine’s is one of our favourite celebrations as we get to share food with those most special to us.

if you haven’t yet got plans, consider dinner à deux, a galantine’s celebration or a couples night out at gia.

we will be running a special 5-course prix fixe menu alongside our regular menu for february 14th & 15th.
