north-east italy wine dinner

alto adige v collio

thursday march 26th

5.00 - 7.30 pm

As we head towards Spring, we dive in to the world the Alto Adige and Collio. These areas of North-East Italy, both nestling in the foothills of the Alps, are famed for their white wines. While Alto Adigo produces rich, perfumed, floral whites, the expression of the same grapes in the Collio region of Fruili-Venezia Giulia is leaner, more chiseled and precise.

These regions both have rich histories: Alto Adige as part of the Austrian South Tyrol region, is very much a cultural and viticultural melting pot, where German is more widely spoken than Italian, and dumplings are more common than pizza. Collio on the other hand, is sheltered by the Julian Alps and shares its eastern border and heritage with Slovenia.

This wine dinner will explore and compare a wide range of white wines and a few red wines from the region, with some hearty local specialities to match.

$130 per person, tickets required.

(total ticket price incl. 20% gratuity & sales tax, $170)

monday march 23rd

5.30 - 8pm

This isn’t just a class; it’s an invitation into the "vault." Led by Trisha of At Home With Trisha, we’re taking the guesswork out of the growing season. If you’ve ever struggled to get those first delicate sprouts to thrive, or simply want to understand the foundation of a successful garden—from soil health to the specific needs of finicky seeds—this soirée is for you.

Hard-to-Find Blooms, Herbs, & Heirloom Veggies

You’ll have exclusive access to Trisha’s personal supply of "ungettable" seeds. We’re talking about the world-famous Floret Flower Farm 'Original' Zinnias—notoriously hard to find and absolutely stunning—alongside rare heirloom vegetables and culinary herbs. We’ll also talk about the vital role of native plants and pollinators in making your garden a thriving, living sanctuary.

The Foundation

Trisha will share her personal tips and tricks for mastering germination, ensuring you leave with the confidence to grow a masterpiece. To keep the momentum going at home, every guest will go home with an amazing, professional-grade seed starting kit and a tray full of future "stunners.”

Sip & Sow

It wouldn’t be an evening at Gia without an indulgence in the senses. While we plant, we’ll enjoy a curated spread of seasonal bites from the Gia kitchen and glass of fine Italian wine (or a non-alcoholic refreshment) to pair with the work.

Capacity is strictly limited to keep the evening intimate. We can’t wait to grow with you.
