lanson champagne tasting dinner

lanson is one of the oldest of the historic champagne houses. based in reims, they have been making champagne since 1760. their champagnes have a classic style with an emphasis on elegant and well balanced wines.
we are delighted to bring a champagne wine tasting dinner to gia for the first time. it will be hosted by Thibault Marronnier, from lanson, who brings his intimate knowledge of the champagne region and his incredible wine experience to this tasting.
we will be tasting through a range of lanson champagnes including their classic cuvée, their rosé, their green label, and a few beautiful vintage champagnes from 2012 and 2007. our food pairings will take us through french flavors and impress with how versatile champagne is as wine for enjoying with food.
$155 per person, tickets required. seats limited.

gd vajra wine tasting & white truffle dinner

this is going to be a truly memorable evening. we are delighted to welcome kevin natoli, from gd vajra, back to gia for our first ever full restaurant wine dinner. lisa and jo fell in love with wines from the vajra estate when they travelled to Italy together in 2022 and were hosted by the ever gracious and elegant milena vaira.
kevin, who works closely with the vaira family, will be talking us through a range of wines from the vajra estate, including some of their harder to find, aged, library wines. accompanying the wines will be a menu inspired by the rich culinary heritage of piedmont and accented with fresh white truffles. think aged barolos, a five course meal, two courses of which will have generous white truffle shavings, wine education and a whole heap of luxurious fun. we expect this dinner to sell out fast. see below for menu.
